Tanzania DMC is a Destination Management Company in Tanzania and Kenya made up of professionals who are the pioneers of the Meetings, Incentive, Congress and Events (MICE) industry in East Africa, and as such understand the requirements of this sophisticated sector.
We put our creativity and imagination at client’s service, tailoring events and venues to meet specific requirements of each client. Our company offers much more than simply incentive travel programs. We provide assistance and support to professional conferences, meetings, incentives, corporate events, product launches, congresses, customised tours, vacation travel, cruise line shore excursions, themed group travel, seminars and team-building programmes – all with a personal touch.
The company was formed by Erasto Justine, a veteran in Tanzania’s hospitality industry.
About Erasto
Erasto has specialized in the hospitality industry for the last 18 years and remains actively dedicated and committed to its growth within East Africa. In the mid 1990s he pioneered the development of Tanzania’s incentive travel market, working as a Senior Manager for one of the leading tour operators in the region. Erasto has worked extensively in both mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar Islands.
Erasto is responsible for product development, team building and designing the company’s incentive programs. He is also responsible for overseeing the operations, as well as all planning and production of major events and conferences. Tanzania DMC’s incentive programs are well recognized in Tanzania and Kenya.
Erasto’s Philosophy
As an events organizer, I participate in some of the most memorable and celebratory days of many organizations and people’s lives. As these are such important occasions, I always embrace the vision of my clients and take great joy in bringing that vision to life.
I have a hand on approach to all aspects of the event and my clients can expect to work directly with me. I will be there from initial site selection to final clean up; valuing every minute of it.

Staff Profiles
Colle Makunga
Colle is our Sales Manager and she brings an amazing and thorough background in travel to Tanzania DMC. She handles Sales and Tour Operations for many of our Special Interest tours, adventure tours and honeymoon trips. Colle is a recognised member of Tanzania DMC and is actively involved with our field operations and our international clientele. Colle's energy and insight, truly enables her to provide the best possible travel experience to our agents.
Nakaaya Sumari
Nakaaya joined Tanzania DMC as a key member of the senior management team. She has over five years experience in managing and implementing projects, events and conferences. She has been a key in developing and carrying out of new project concepts for clients and the expansion of existing initiatives. Nakaaya has the knowledge and expertise to co-ordinate any event. She assists all our Field Managers to ensure every program achieves the highest level of success
Jeremy Stephenson
Our Professional Photographer and Travel Director, Jeremy Stephenson, offers an
additional exclusive service for our guests. Jeremy is available to accompany our
guests on their once-in-a-lifetime safaris or attend events and provide them with a
stunning creative record of their adventure through his lenses. Jeremy's images
capture the moments of safaris and events with a detail and composition which will
draw you back into the experience. Knowing that their memories are being securely
captured will give our guests the confidence to sit back, relax, and take in the
enchantment that Africa has to offer. Our guests are then provided with a
high-quality photo-book featuring the unique images of their trip. Jeremy
compliments our safaris and events with his specialized knowledge and experiences as
a fourth-generation East African resident and grandson of one of Tanzania's National
Parks' early pioneers.
Thabit Msafiri
Thabit came to Tanzania DMC in 2007, with over 10 years of accounting and
finance experience. He started his career in Serengeti National Park and
moved to Tanzania DMC after nearly 6 years with a large hotel chain in
Tanzania. He served in various financial capacities, most recently as a
financial analyst specializing in business planning and technology issues.
